One player reads the lights from the conductor booth while the other presses the seven stage buttons below in the order they are called. Seven clean presses make one round, and the challenge only finishes once eight rounds have registered. The button order flips between the 2-player world and the 3-player and 4+ worlds, so check that setting before you copy anyone else's order.

Headphones and a row of microphones? That is the microphone puzzle, not the stage.
Which world are you playing?
Choose the world setting the host picked — not how many players happen to be in the lobby right now.
1One player takes the booth panel, one takes the button board.
2Number the seven positions from your own board before the first call.
3Call one lit position, press one matching button, seven times through.
4Check the round registered, then run the sequence again to eight rounds.
Is This Your Puzzle?
Players call this the concert puzzle, the concert stage or the stage light and button puzzle, and often the blue stage because of how the seating is painted. Check which room is in front of you:
• A dark blue or black concert stage with a raised booth built behind it
• A lit conductor panel inside the booth, showing seven light positions
• A panel of seven round poke buttons below the stage, split into a top row and a bottom row
• Doors between the booth and the button panel that shut the two players away from each other
• A Gourd reward waiting outside the venue
Then this is Concert — the stage with the conductor panel and the seven-button board.
Team Setup — 2-player
In a 2-player world the two of you are the whole stage: one in the booth and one on the board. This version orders its seven positions the opposite way round from the 3-player and 4+ versions.
Number the seven positions from the board in front of you rather than copying a clip with three or four players in it. A three-player order presses your board in the reverse direction, which is why a copied sequence fails here and nowhere else.

How Many Rounds Does the Concert Puzzle Have?
One clean seven-press sequence is a single round, not the whole challenge. The stage keeps count and only finishes once eight rounds are in.

Step-by-step
Step 1
Split the team into a reader and a presser
One player goes into the raised booth where the conductor panel is, and one stays at the button panel below the stage. These two jobs do not swap mid-round, so decide who does which before the first press.
•Booth player: watches the lit positions on the conductor panel and calls them out.
•Button player: works the panel below, one press at a time.
Tip: Players call the booth player the conductor or the DJ. The job is the same either way: report what the panel shows.
Step 2
Agree on a name for all seven positions
Before anyone touches a button, decide how the seven positions will be described out loud. Count them the same way, use the same words, and have both players repeat the names back once so there is nothing to argue about later.
•Number them 1 to 7 in the order the panel reads.
•Or name them by row: top and bottom, then left, middle and right.
Tip: Do this while the two players can still talk properly. Once the doors between the booth and the panel are shut, a numbering disagreement is the slowest thing to fix.
Success check: Both players can list all seven positions in the same order without looking at the panel.
Step 3
Read one cue at a time
The booth player watches the conductor panel and calls the lit position as it appears. Do not read ahead and do not guess the next one — call the position that is lit now, then wait.
Success check: The button player is pressing the same order the booth is calling.
Step 4
Press only the matching button
The button player presses the position that was just called and nothing else. Hitting several buttons to see which one works is how a round gets lost.
Tip: If the call was not clear, ask for it again instead of pressing something and hoping.
Step 5
Finish all seven presses in order
A round is the whole set of seven presses, not a single one. Keep the relay going until the seventh press has landed.
Success check: Seven positions have been pressed, in the called order, with no wrong input.
Step 6
Check the round counter
When the sequence finishes, the progress display gains one round. Look at it before starting again, so a round that did not register is caught straight away rather than eight presses later.
Success check: The display has moved up by exactly one round.
Step 7
Repeat the performance
Run the whole thing again, from the first call to the seventh press. The stage does not stop at one performance, so keep repeating the sequence until the display is full.
Tip: Keep the same two players on the same two jobs. Swapping mid-challenge is how a numbering scheme gets lost.
Step 8
Collect the Gourd
The last round fills the display, the challenge finishes and the reward leaves the venue. Pick it up to register everything.
How the Puzzle Decides You Succeeded
The puzzle checks whether every required state for your world version is active at the same time. If one required state drops before the completion trigger fires, the team has to try again.
Conductor panel lit
The booth panel shows the first position of the round. Only the player in the booth can see it.
↓
Seven calls answered
The operator presses one button per call. A press that does not match the call ends the round there.
↓
Round counted
The finished sequence adds one round to the progress display, and the display is what tells you how far along the stage is.
↓
Stage finished
The eighth round fills the display and the venue releases its Gourd.
Success
✓ Eight rounds have registered on the progress display
✓ The last seven-press sequence finished without a wrong input
✓ The Gourd is released and collected
Where To Find Concert
The stage sits on the Yellow Tower side of the map, with the conductor booth and the button board inside the same venue. Players report it at roughly 3410, 1590 on the in-game map. Look for the dark stage front with the raised booth behind it — if you can see a lit conductor panel above a board of seven buttons, you are standing in the right place.
📍 Yellow Area
🧭 Nearest landmark: Yellow Tower
Nearby: Cannonball Commute, Signal Flags, Tile Thief
Likely cause: Concert counts ordered presses, so a press that does not match the call breaks the sequence you were on.
Check
Which position was called
Which position was actually pressed
Whether the count restarted from the beginning
Fix: Stop, put both players back on their jobs, and start the sequence again from the first call instead of carrying on.
My progress dropped back to the start
Likely cause: Concert has a real reset path, so progress can be cleared rather than only losing the round you were on. The exact trigger is not confirmed yet — feedback welcome.
Check
Whether the display is empty or part-filled
Whether anyone left the booth or the button panel mid-round
Fix: Let the reset finish, re-establish the two jobs, and begin the sequence again.
Our panel looks mirrored compared with a video
Likely cause: Concert is built separately for the 2-player world and for the 3-player and 4+ worlds, and the two versions run the button order the opposite way round.
Check
The world setting the host picked
Whether the clip came from a 2-player world or a bigger one
Fix: Open the version of this page that matches the host's world setting, then re-agree the numbering before pressing anything.
We pressed all seven and nothing dropped
Likely cause: One finished sequence is one round. The challenge asks for eight of them.
Check
How many rounds are showing on the progress display
Fix: Keep repeating the full sequence until eight rounds are registered, then collect the reward.
We cannot hear each other through the doors
Likely cause: The booth and the button panel sit behind doors that shut the two players away from each other, so ordinary voice chat gets awkward while a round is running.
Check
Whether the doors are closed between the two jobs
Whether both players already agreed on a numbering
Fix: Settle the numbering before the doors close, then use short calls, gestures or taps on the glass while the round is running.
Reward & Progress
🏆 Gourd
The eighth round fills the display and the stage releases its Gourd. Concert sits on the convenient reward route around the Yellow Tower, so its Gourd is one of the rewards you can carry back to the Yellow plinth — that plinth accepts five eligible rewards and does not check them by challenge name.
Completing Concert counts as one of the 45 active reward challenges.
Concert and Microphone Array are both read-and-act rooms, which is why they get mixed up. Concert is the stage: a lit conductor panel in the booth and seven poke buttons on the board below it. Microphone Array is the room where microphones have to be aimed until a signal comes through, and there is nothing to press in an order. Two other rooms also get described as a concert puzzle. A room where sounds or speakers have to be moved between booths is its own challenge, and a room whose walls and floor are covered in buttons belongs to a different one entirely — Concert has seven buttons on a single board, not buttons everywhere.
One player reads the lit positions from the conductor booth while the other presses the matching stage buttons in the order they are called. Seven correct presses make one round, and the challenge finishes once eight rounds have registered.
Does Concert change with player count?
Yes. Concert is built separately for the 2-player world and for the 3-player and 4+ worlds, and the two versions run the button order the opposite way round.
Why does my Concert puzzle look mirrored?
Because the 2-player world uses a different Concert layout from the 3-player and 4+ worlds. Check the world setting the host picked, switch this page to that version, and re-agree your numbering before copying anyone else's order.
How many buttons are in the Concert sequence?
Seven presses per round. All seven have to be right, in the called order, before the round counts towards the challenge.
How many rounds does the Concert puzzle need?
Eight. A finished seven-press sequence adds one round to the progress display, so the stage has to be played through eight times.
What happens if I press the wrong button?
The sequence you were on breaks and that round has to be played again. Stop pressing, get both players back on their jobs, and restart from the first call rather than carrying on down the board.
Where is the Concert puzzle?
On the Yellow Tower side of the map, at roughly 3410, 1590 on the in-game map. Look for the dark concert stage with the raised conductor booth and the board of seven buttons in front of it.
Is Concert the microphone puzzle?
No. The microphone puzzle is a separate room where microphones are aimed until a signal comes through. Concert is the stage with the lit conductor panel and the seven-button board.
