Is Every Object an Item You Need to Keep?
No. Seeing a prop in the world is not proof it is a permanent item, a collectible or a requirement.
Gear & tools
Wearable or holdable, and useful across more than one place.
Progression items
Keys with a route and a destination that has to be reached.
Puzzle props
Only serve one puzzle or local mechanic, and stay with that room.
World objects & toys
Can be picked up or played with without being something you keep.
Lost Something?
Backpack, worn gear or something you were carrying? Recovery starts at Lost & Found in the Spawn Hub.
Check Lost & Found →Lost a Big Key?
A progression key is not recovered the way gear is. Check the key route state before you assume it is missing.

The map shows where a published item lives. The guide for that item says whether you can pick it up, and under what condition.

Items without a published location do not get a pin, so an empty area is not proof that nothing is there.
Big Walk Items & Tools FAQ
What items are in Big Walk?
Big Walk includes progression objects, wearable gear, navigation tools, communication and signalling tools, and puzzle-specific objects. Official examples include walkie-talkies, laser pointers, binoculars, megaphones, flares, whiteboards, cowbells and the golden head.
Does Big Walk have an inventory?
Tools are physical objects you carry, wear or interact with in the world. Backpack storage exists for compatible objects rather than for everything.
Where can I find a Backpack?
The published Backpack source landmarks are on the Backpack guide, together with what you have to do to end up wearing one.
What are Big Keys for?
Big Keys are progression items. A released key runs through five cutters on its route, and the completed key is used at a major destination.
Where do I get the map and compass?
The map comes from the Map Room route. A compass location is not published yet.
What should I do if I lose an item?
Check Lost & Found in the Spawn Hub first. Progression keys are the exception — check the key route state instead of assuming it is gone.
Are all puzzle objects permanent items?
No. A local puzzle prop is separate from general gear and from progression objects, and it usually stays with the room that uses it.
Can every item go in a Backpack?
No. Only verified compatible props are described as Backpack-storable. Everything else stays unpublished.
