Coordinate tools

Big Walk uses two different coordinate systems. This map keeps them apart instead of translating one into the other.

World position

Numbers such as 95.1 -739.1 are mapped world positions. They place a site pin, and this map uses them only for placement — never as something you type into the game.

95.1 -739.1

In-game coordinate clue

A clue such as 4166 / 1899 is written inside the game. The Coordinates Finder reads the pair and says whether it is an exact place, a close match or nothing mapped.

4166 / 1899

Big Key Routes

Every ordinary route runs source → five ordered cutters → destination. The routes are parallel, so this list never claims an order between them.

How to Use the Big Walk Map

Five things this page does, and nothing else.

  1. 1.Search anything: a name, a place, a problem you are stuck on, or an in-game coordinate clue.
  2. 2.Filter by progression route, challenge type, transport or area.
  3. 3.Track completion, so a Completion view can show only what is left.
  4. 4.Open the exact guide from the selected entity instead of guessing from a pin.
  5. 5.Keep world X/Z placement data apart from the coordinate clues written inside the game.

Map questions

Is this the in-game Map?
No. This is the website Interactive Map. The Map Room you walk into and the Folding Map you carry are separate things inside the game. Map Room
How many challenges are on the map?
All 45 normal reward challenges are on it, plus progression, Big Key route, transport, item, achievement and location pins.
Can I find the Big Key cutters?
Yes. Turn on Big Key Routes and pick Opening, Red, Green, Blue or Yellow. Each route opens as source, its five ordered cutters and its destination.
Where is the Train?
Search Train to see its activation destination and the known station stops. The Train is the Blue route destination, not an early Red Area stop. Train Guide
Why does 4166 1899 not match the X/Z shown on a marker?
4166 / 1899 is a clue written inside the game. A marker X/Z is where the pin is plotted on the map. Two different systems, kept apart here. Coordinates Finder
Can the map tell me where to go next?
It shows where the next step is. What Should I Do Next decides which step that is, using your saved progress. What Should I Do Next?
Why do some names appear twice?
Some names really do belong to two different things, such as a puzzle and a Train stop. Places that only looked duplicated have been merged into one pin.
Does every item pin mean I can pick it up?
No. A pin says where something is. What you need to do to get it belongs to the item guide.
Are secret routes complete?
Only confirmed places are published. Where a normal way in is not established, the pin is drawn open with a question mark instead of an invented route.

Three boundaries

Three things the map deliberately does not do.

  • A Train station pin is a station. The map never draws a running order between stops, because none is published.
  • Some names are used twice — Ring Room and Trap Room are both a challenge and a Train station — so results are listed by type instead of guessing one.
  • 4166 / 1899 is a puzzle clue, not the X/Z shown for a pin. They are different coordinate systems and the page keeps them apart.

Need a Next Objective?

The map tells you where things are. What Next tells you which one matters right now, using your saved site progress.
