How to Get Shiny in Big Walk
Big Makeover goes to the player whose character actually receives a qualifying shiny appearance. The ordinary paint area and a normal colour change are not enough — the shiny looks live in a hidden makeover room inside the tunnel network.

Four things worth settling before you walk into the tunnels.

Where Is Shiny in Big Walk?
The shiny makeover room is hidden inside the underground tunnel network. It is not the paint area you meet early in the game, and it stays out of reach while the tunnels are still closed.

The network has more than one entrance, so there is no single correct door. Guides report both a blue-side and a Yellow-side approach reaching the same network.
The turn-by-turn path inside the tunnels is deliberately not printed here. It has not been confirmed against the game itself, and the dark stretches are easy to describe wrongly from memory.
How to Get Shiny
The unlock from a locked tunnel network to the medal, in order.
1. Open the tunnel network
Big Makeover is inside the tunnels, so nothing else matters until the network is open. If yours is still closed, the Yellow route is where that gets fixed.

Enter an opened tunnel entrance and work through the network to the room. If you lose your bearings, put the room on the map and route from where you already are.

Inside the room the choices you want are the metallic-looking ones, not the ordinary colour swatches you already had.
4. Have it applied to the player who needs Big Makeover
Player-tested routes use a second player to paint the character. Whatever the exact input is, the medal follows the character the appearance lands on.
5. Let the look refresh, then check the achievement list
The game reads your appearance when your look refreshes, so give it a moment and confirm Big Makeover on the in-game achievement list.
What Counts as Shiny?
Shiny means one of the special metallic-looking appearances hidden in the secret makeover room. A normal colour change at the ordinary paint area is a different thing, and that is why so many Big Makeover attempts fail without any warning.

✓ A qualifying shiny / metallic appearance applied to your character.

- ✕ Switching to an ordinary colour
- ✕ Watching another player get painted
Who Gets the Achievement?
Big Makeover is player-specific. The medal goes to the character whose look is refreshed, so every player who wants it needs the shiny appearance applied to their own character — one shiny player in the group does not unlock it for everybody.

Does Big Makeover Affect Completion?
No. Big Makeover is an appearance achievement rather than a step in the main route: players reach Big Goodbye without it, and the medal sits on its own track beside the endings.
Keep the medal separate from story progress — the platform achievement list and the gameplay route are counted differently.

¿Necesito a otro jugador?
Las rutas probadas por jugadores usan a un jugador pintando a otro, pero lo que decide la medalla es simplemente que el aspecto se aplique al personaje que la quiere. Si puedes aplicártelo a ti mismo, rige la misma regla.
¿Dónde está la sala brillante?
Dentro de la red de túneles, no en la zona de pintura normal del principio. Usa el marcador del mapa si quieres ver dónde están la red y la sala.

La medalla es individual. Revisa que el aspecto brillante se aplicó a tu propio personaje y no solo al del otro.
¿Necesito terminar el juego primero?
No. Una gran transformación está disponible en cuanto la red de túneles está abierta y no forma parte de la ruta del final.
