The Red Big Key route is the unlock. There is no separate Map Room puzzle in front of the door.
- 1Release the Red Key from the Red Cone Lookout.
- 2Complete all five ordered Red cutters.
- 3Take the finished key to the Map Room.
- 4Enter the Map Room.
Finishing Red Tower or the Red source section is not enough on its own. The key still has to finish the five cutters.
Why Is the Door Still Locked?
Work the Red route in order. A locked door is almost always an unfinished step, not a missing colour lock.

A Red cutter is still open
The Red route uses five ordered cutters. Go to the first incomplete cutter and finish it before moving on.

The finished key has not reached the Map Room
Once all five cutters are done, the key is finished. Take it to the Map Room destination.

The key is there, but the Map Room is still locked
Recheck the Red route rather than looking for a second key: source complete, every cutter done, finished key at the destination. If that is all true, treat it as a route/system check.

Only the Folding Map is confirmed from the game data. The large island model and compass are widely reported, but they stay marked as external until the same closure exists internally.

Using the Map for Coordinates
Number pairs such as 4166 / 1899 are in-game map clues. The Map Room is why those numbers make sense; it is not the puzzle solution itself.
4166 / 1899 is not a website world X/Z readout.
It is an in-game map clue. Use the Folding Map / in-game grid to read it, then hand the pair to the Coordinates tools.
Big View Achievement
Big View is tied to the Map area’s achievement zone, not simply picking up the Folding Map.
Move through the Map area until the achievement zone registers. Opening the portable map from inventory is not the confirmed trigger.
