PROGRESSION ASSISTANT

What Should I Do Next in Big Walk?

Tell us what your group has already done. We’ll give you one useful next objective — without forcing the coloured routes into a fake fixed order.

Nothing marked yet

Answer a few questions about your run and you get one next objective. Nothing leaves this browser.

What best describes your game right now?

Pick the closest match. If you are holding a key or have just unlocked a vehicle, pick the route it belongs to and the next question narrows it down.

Your Big Walk Progress

Every route keeps its own state. Nothing here reads Red → Green → Blue → Yellow as an order.

Why This Recommendation Makes Sense

Opening route, then parallel major routes, then late game, then the ending. This page only recommends an objective when the progression dependencies support it.

Opening route: release the Opening Key, run its five stations, then place it at the Drawbridge. That opens the wider island.

Four parallel major routes

They are shown side by side because none of them comes first. Each one opens a different landmark.

Late game — Black Tower, then the ending

We never claim a mandatory order between the coloured routes, because the game does not have one.

Late game: the Black Tower reward is the Ending Key. It arrives already finished, so it has no cutter route.

Ending: place the Ending Key at the Ending plinth, open the Ending Gate, then finish the ending sequence.

Post-game: the Overflow route and the completion layers, tracked separately from the main route.

A nearby puzzle is never promoted to a required step. Optional content is listed separately, and only when it sits near the step above.

Why Am I Stuck?

Pick the line that matches your run. If the objective is already done and something still will not run, the fault is in that system rather than in your progression.

A specific system still will not run

The key is already where it belongs on these, so what is left is clearing the system itself.

What Next Questions

What should I do first in Big Walk?

Start with the opening challenge loop. Finish the first key route, place the key at the Drawbridge, and the wider island opens.

Opening stage →
What should I do after the Drawbridge?

Work a major route. The Red route opens the Map Room, and Green, Blue and Yellow open the Chairlift, the Train and the Tunnels.

Red route stage →
Do I have to do the coloured routes in order?

No. They are parallel routes with different destinations, and this page never treats them as chapters. Work whichever one your run leaves open.

Coloured routes →
What should I do after finishing a route?

Follow that route to its destination, then continue any other route that is still reachable. The result above names the one to pick up.

Main progression →
The page says my route is done but something will not run. Why?

A placed key whose destination is not running is a system problem, not a progression blocker. This page hands it to that system’s own page instead of sending you to another station.

Troubleshooting →
What should I do after the main ending?

Big Goodbye ends the main route. The post-game route, the second ending and completion work continue from there as separate goals.
