Big Walk Peg Tile Solver

Check the board you have — not someone else’s answer.

Choose the puzzle you're standing at, match the tiles you see, and check which tile belongs in each position. If your sequence still fails, the solver tells you what to check next.

This solver can confirm

  • ✓ How many positions the board has
  • ✓ Which symbols each position accepts
  • ✓ Whether your player-count version changes the board
  • ✓ Whether the same symbol may repeat

This solver cannot confirm

  • △ The order your game is asking for right now
  • △ The finished order for your particular save
  1. 1. Pick the puzzle you are standing at.
  2. 2. Pick the tile you are holding for each position.
  3. 3. Check the board, then read the clue your own game is showing.

Still not working?

  • Every position fits, but the puzzle rejects it

    Likely cause

The tiles are acceptable, so the problem is the order or the step that confirms it.

    What to do

Compare the order with the clue shown in your current game, then trigger the puzzle's own confirm interaction.

  • My guide shows different symbols

    Likely cause

Guides often record one player's run. The symbols asked for are generated per game or per save.

    What to do

Use the clue in your own game and ignore the specific symbols in a copied list.

  • The puzzle reset after I entered the tiles

    Likely cause

One position was not accepted, so the puzzle cleared the board instead of completing.

    What to do

Check each position above, fix the first one flagged, then enter the order again.

  • A tile I'm holding isn't listed

    Likely cause

The position is showing only the symbols it accepts, or you may be on a different world setting.

    What to do

Switch the position to "Show all known symbols", or check your world setting and try the other puzzle variant.

  • I don't know which tile I'm holding

    Likely cause

The solver cannot read the tiles from your screen, so it cannot identify them for you.

    What to do

Open the tile reference below and compare the symbols listed for this puzzle with the tile in your hands.

  • My layout looks different from this board

    Likely cause

Some puzzles change their position count with your world setting.

    What to do

Check the world setting above. The number of positions updates for 2-player, 3-player and 4+.

Why another answer may differ

Some tile puzzles choose their sequence while you play, or take it from your current save. A finished order from someone else can therefore be a valid order that your game never shows.

  • The order is not fixed for everyone

Two players standing at the same puzzle can be asked for different orders, even when both use the right tiles.

  • Read your own clue

Match what your game is showing right now instead of copying a finished order from a guide or a screenshot.

Big Walk Peg Tile Solver FAQ

Are Big Walk Peg Tile answers always the same?
No. Many tile puzzles choose their sequence while you play. The symbols a position accepts stay the same, but a finished order from another player will not match your game.
Why answers differ →
Why doesn't my tile sequence match another guide?
Guides usually record one run. Check your own board here, then read the clue your game is showing instead of copying the symbols from that run.
Check your board →
Can the Peg Tile Solver give me the exact answer?
It confirms that every position accepts the tile you put in it, and it names the position that rejects one. The finished order is not something it can produce, because your game decides it.
What the solver checks →
What does save-specific mean?
On a few puzzles the game stores the finished order with your save. Two saves at the same puzzle can be asked for different orders even though every position accepts the same symbols.
Why answers differ →
Why do all my tiles fit but the puzzle still fails?
Accepted tiles only mean the groups are right; they say nothing about the order. Compare your order with the clue in your current game, confirm your player count, and make sure the puzzle's own confirm step triggered.
Troubleshooting →
Does the tile layout change with player count?
For most tile puzzles it does not. Ring Room is the one where the number of positions changes between 2-player, 3-player and 4+ worlds, so set your player count before checking anything there.
Set your player count →
Which Big Walk puzzles use peg tiles?
Invisible Ink, Optical Telegraph, Tile Thief, Scout Bombs, Blindfold Fishtrap, Poet and Pontiff, Ring Room and the other tile puzzles listed below the solver.

Why did the puzzle reset after I entered the tiles?
One position was rejected, so the puzzle cleared the board instead of completing. The solver names that position so you can fix it first.
