What's Wrong With Your Train?

Your Train ticks are kept on this device, so the walkthrough and the 100% checklist see the same progress.

Train Status Checker

Four questions. The first one that is not done yet is the only thing worth doing next.

  • Have you returned five rewards at Blue Tower? Not yet

  • Did you take the Blue Key through all five cutters?0 / 5 cutters

Tap a line you have already done. Progress is kept on this device.

The unlock steps and the stop names here were checked against the game in Sep 2026.

NEXT ACTION

Finish the Blue Tower reward step.

The Blue Key is still held at its lookout, so nothing is on its way to the Train yet. Five challenge rewards bring it back to the tower.

Your next action

Return the five rewards at Blue Tower, then release the key.

Why Isn't My Train Moving?

Four things stop this Train, and only the first three are something you can fix on the Blue route.

  • Fewer than five Blue Tower rewards

    Likely answer

The key has not been released, so the route has not started.

    Your next action

Return the missing challenge rewards at Blue Tower.

  • The Blue Key is not finished

    Likely answer

Some of the five cutters are still ahead of the key.

    Your next action

Finish the next cutter, then check the Train again.

  • The finished key is not at the Train

    Likely answer

All five cutters are done, but the key never reached the Train.

    Your next action

Carry the finished Blue Key to the Train and place it.

  • Blue is done and the Train has not started

    Likely answer

This is no longer progression. The railway has not switched to its running state.

    Your next action

Treat it as a Train-side problem and check the railway state.

Progression problem or railway problem?

Blame the Blue route

A missing reward, an unfinished key or a key you are still carrying. Fix it on the Blue Tower route, then come back to the Train.

Blame the railway

The finished key is at the Train, so the Blue route is not your problem any more. Sort the Train out instead of redoing Blue Tower.

You placed the key and nothing happened

Placing the key is the last Blue step, so your side of the chain is finished. If the railway is still silent, it is the Train that has not started, not the key that failed.

Your next action

Check the railway state, then try the Train again.

What's Wrong With Your Train?

Pick the line that sounds like you, and the answer follows from your own state instead of a general checklist.

Your situation

I haven't seen any Train move

Likely answer

Then the route has not started.

A Train no one has seen moving is almost always an untouched Blue Tower. Start with the rewards and the route follows.

Your next action

Open the Blue Tower route and start at the rewards.

How to Unlock the Train

The unlock runs from the Blue Tower rewards to a moving railway. In order:

  1. 1

Return five challenge rewards at Blue Tower.

  2. 2

Release the Blue Key at its lookout.

  3. 3

Take the key through all five cutters.

    Blue Cutter 1Blue Cutter 2Blue Cutter 3Blue Cutter 4Blue Cutter 5

  4. 4

Carry the finished key to the Train and place it.

  5. 5

The railway starts running and the Train can be boarded.

Blue Tube Lookout → BigKeyComplete → Train

The Blue Key is the one that ends at the Train. The other four keys end somewhere else, so a finished Red, Green or Yellow key does not move this railway.

Where Is the Train?

The railway itself, the place where the key goes and the stops are three different things.

  • Where the key goes

The finished Blue Key goes in at the Train itself, at the end of the Blue route. That is the last Blue step, and it is the one the checker watches.

  • The stops

Six stop names are mapped so far. Each one is its own place on the island rather than a menu entry.

Show the Train on the Map

How to Use the Train

Boarding, riding and stopping are three different things, and only the first one needs you to be in the right place.

  • Getting on

Stand at one of the mapped stops and wait. The Train comes to you, so there is no destination to choose and no button to press first.

  • Riding

Once you are on, the Train carries you along the railway. Time on board is what Big Ride watches, so a proper ride is enough.

  • Slowing and stopping

A lever on board slows the Train or holds it in place while you step off. It is a ride control, not part of unlocking the railway.

Player-tested routes describe a continuous loop rather than a fast-travel menu, so treat the Train as a moving part of the world you step onto.

What Is the Train Useful For?

The railway changes how you cross the island, not what you have unlocked.

  • Crossing the island without the walk
  • Regrouping with other players who are somewhere else
  • Getting back to an earlier region quickly
  • Reaching challenges that sit beside a stop
  • Being on board long enough for Big Ride

Does the Train Stop at Stations?

Yes, but not by itself.

Player-tested routes describe a Train that keeps working its way around the loop instead of pulling in and waiting at every stop. If it rolls past you, that is the normal behaviour rather than a fault.

The onboard lever is how you bring it to a stop. Nothing on the platform does that for you.

Known Train Stations

Six stop names are mapped so far. Each one is a real place you can wait at.

The stops are not numbered here, because no running order is confirmed. Use this list to recognise a stop you have found, not to plan a route between them.

Two of these names also belong to challenges elsewhere on the island. The Train stop and the puzzle are different things, and a search for the station gives you the stop.

The Train is mapped as one landmark, so the map opens on the railway rather than on individual platform pins.

Big Ride Achievement

Big Ride is a riding achievement. Unlocking the Train is not the same as earning it.

What Should I Do After Unlocking the Train?

The Train does not hand you a next area. It opens movement, so the route that matters next is whichever one your own save still has open.

Big Walk Train FAQ

Outil « Et maintenant ? »

Comment obtenir « Grande vitesse » ?
